The annual journal is published at the same time as the calendar, from 2009 it will ONLY be in electronic form. It is an excellent teaching resource providing insights from a variety of perspectives. Each year the editorial team selects an issue of importance for those teaching world religions or working in other educational sectors or in public services.

The journal includes practical suggestions for classroom application.

It includes reviews of books and other resources and enables the practitioner to keep abreast of current publications.

Requests for use or re-publication of any articles should be made (via Shap if necessary) to the author, who retains copyright. If re-published in part or full elsewhere, the article’s publication in "World Religions in Education <year>' should be acknowledged.
