The Shap Calendar of Religious Festivals is an invaluable resource for the teaching profession, students, businesses, chaplaincies, those in health care and public services, to name but a few.

It provides

  • An A5 booklet

  • A brief description of each religious festival

  • An overview of 16 months from September of one year to December of the next

  • Details on 12 different faiths from Baha'i to Zoroastrian (Parsee) and including Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and Sikhism

  • Together with the calendar is a colourful A2 wall planner and an A5 laminated year planner

There is also the Pictoral Calendar a colourful A4 calendar to hang on walls.

There is also the Shap publication, Festivals In World Religions (2nd edition 1998 by RMEP). This can be purchased separately from the Shap office. The book is written by a team, many of whom are members of the working party. All are experts in the different religions and geographical areas covered in the books.
